I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say it was an experience worth sharing. The location was perfect, nestled in an area that is neither purely residential nor agricultural, but conveniently close to the seaside. This allowed for easy access to the beach as well as the vibrant restaurant scene that Spain is known for.
This hotel is highly recommended to family and friends.

- Amazing food, beautiful setting, very comfortable rooms, staff is very (!) friendly, beautiful gardens, great little pool (it was too cold to swim), fabulous for a long weekend and close to Figueres (Dahli Museum)

This country oasis was perfect after our active eight days in urban Barcelona and Girona. Mas Pau is situated off a main road on large grounds set amidst small communities and towns. But that was ok with us because we used Mas Pau as a base camp for our explorations to Olot, Besalu, Figueres, Cadaques, St. Pere de Rodes. We ate breakfast every morning and enjoyed a wonderful tasting menu for dinner on the first night we arrived. The service was impeccable. Our room was situated in the tower and although you do see a neighbourhood beyond the fields, you also see hills/mountains, big sky and great sunsets. The grounds are beautifully maintained and if there had been a hot day, we would have stayed by the pool and listened to the birds.
This is not a complaint but a warning that you do need a car to access Mas Pau and explore the scenic area.

We loved the room and the beautiful views. The meals we had were great and the staff were very friendly. It's a great get away hotel. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite which was also a nice surprise.
The dinner was a little overpriced give the quality of the starters and final desert.

The beautiful gardens, friendly staff and serene setting. Dinner at the restaurant was michelin star quality.
There was no coffee making facility in the rooms and our beds was two single beds and not matrimonial.

Beautiful gardens with a variety of flowers and sculptures. the swimming pool was a great bonus on a hot day. Convenient location for exploring the surrounding area. Friendly staff made us feel welcome.
The rooms were a bit dark and lacked a view, making them feel a bit dingy. the price was a bit high for what was offered.

Really great location for dali locations around figueres. More of restaurant with rooms than a big hotel. Quality of food, big surprise - excellent. Service and staff excellent too.

Restaurant was lovely, great service and food. Breakfast was also very good. The reception building which includes the restaurant is very interesting and decorated with museum like furniture.
Very difficult to find. Poor signage, No one was available to check us in on arrival. The person we eventually found didn't speak English. The room was very dated.

Very picturesque small boutique hotel with beautiful garden and very quiet.
I could not get through when I called twice. An answering machine would have been good.

The hotel offered a beautiful and tranquil environment, perfect for relaxation. The Junior Suite we stayed in was spacious with antique furniture, adding a touch of uniqueness. The gardens and grounds were lavish and well-maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant was a highlight, as the gastronomique menu offered 8 courses of exquisite delights that exceeded our expectations.
The hotel's location was somewhat isolated, in an area that lacked scenic views and nearby restaurants. The rooms, although elegant, were dark and could benefit from brighter lighting and some kind of view.

Amazing location, perfect to stop by or to be amazed by the place itself.
Restaurant is quite expensive compared to what they offer. Amazing food, yes, but the portions are really small, even though the quality is really good.
